What is an Audio Pin?
Audio pinning is a technique that has been used for many years by Forensic Animators and Linguists to compare witness and other statements. VLD pioneered the use of Computational Linguistics in Audio Pinning, and our Deep Cyan™ runs always provide this technology and these exhibits, even if you do not request fully animated output.
The basic technique is to find a common statement point, time the rhythm objectively with computer clock pacing to remove cadence biases, pin the common point, put the output on VLD's virtual oscilliscope, then generate a pin diagram from the scope results.
Computational Audio Pin diagrams create powerful and dramatic exhibits for the truth of your case!
